Pinckney: There is a place - or was - on Arthur Ave in the Bronx that smoked meats - mostly beef. The smoke was VERY heavy and the finished meat was almost ebony with it. It was rich and interesting. Is that Lithuanian? It wasn't Italian for all that being in the Arthur Ave area implies... comment left Apr 04 |
