	vcurran: Once on a business trip to San Antonio I discovered a local fair, a religious festival with lots of booths selling Chicano foods and crafts. My favorite was a stand cooking turkey legs on a big barbecue. It was kind of messy to walk down a crowded street eating a hot turkey leg dripping with barbecue sauce, but I can assure you, it was worth it. comment left Oct 13
	Cynthia: Actually, because I'm so far north in Illinois, I usually go to the Wisconsin State Fare. (One hour drive vs. 6 hour drive to Illinois fair.) The foods I like the best are the dairy products -- especially cheese and the Wisconsin fair's huge, famous cream puffs. Actually, bratwurst and game (elk, bison, venison, and duck) are also good options. But the cheese and the cream puffs are always on the "must do" list." comment left Oct 08

	sabre8796: At the PA State Farm Show (not quite a State Fair but close) the best thing is the milkshakes. I love the milkshakes there. And the fries, the batter dipped veggies, the pulled pork sandwiches.... comment left Oct 07
