subhadip_m: The same kind of snow cone is available in India particularly in Mumbai known as 'Baraf Ka Gola', and it taste awesome. We Indian love this food specially when you are sitting just by the side of beach with your girl friend by your side.

Cynthia: Well, if we're speaking of the snowy treats suggested by chef4cook, then yes -- it's still snowing here. (My mom grew up with maple syrup drizzled on snow, but that's because her parents were Canadian.) If, however, we're talking about "sno cones," the refreshing, icy, summer treat -- not there yet. Sno cones aren't much of a treat when it's below freezing outside. But summer is on its way!

chef4cook: Yes it is! And, I remember when I was a kid my mom would gather up snow, put drops of vanilla extract on it and sprinkle sugar over it and we loved it!
